How to Deep Clean Tiles & Grout
To learn How to Deep Clean Tiles & Grout floors is a difficult task to do at home or do it yourself as it doesn’t get the expected results. For this type of task, special equipment or machinery is necessary, accessories such as discs and brushes, suitable products for the type of floor and especially trained personnel to carry out this work. A floor that isn’t cleaned regularly accumulates a large amount of dirt, debris, etc.
At Pro-Carpet Care & Cleaning Services LLC we recommend doing a regular deep or professional cleaning at least every year or when you find floors with a lot of dirt. Waiting too long to professionally clean your floors causes long-term damage that may be irreversible.

The Process is Very Simple:
1. Once a first dust cleaning has been done, the appropriate cleaning product will be used, sometimes it is convenient to use several cleaning products for different residues, but it is important to remember that, in general, it isn’t convenient to mis them, but to do a cleaning specific after the other.
2. We will wet the area to be treated with a solution of water and the appropriate detergent, according to the manufacturer’s specifications, and let it act for between 3 and 6 minutes (we will first test in an inconspicuous area to ensure that the surface isn’t damaged).
3. We will rub with a cloth or equivalent avoiding hard fiber scourers because they could scratch the surface.
4. We will remove the product by rinsing with hot water, being convenient to ensure quick drying (open windows or even drying it manually).
Cleaning After Installation
Once the flooring is installed, the normal thing is that there are traces of dirt typical of the work. There may be remains of the fixation or other remains derived from works or paintings on walls, etc.
Porcelain is a material that is very resistant to cleaning products, but we must use the most suitable one and carry out normal cleaning precautions.
For organic remains, we will choose an alkaline PH cleaning product, while for remains of cement, plaster, etc. We will use an acid PH cleaning product.
To remove the remains of the fixer that causes white stains on the floor (white veil type), the ideal is to use a specific cleaning product for that type of fixer. If it is a small amount, you can use a neutral PH degreaser (not alkaline), since its formula can help to remove that rest of the fixer.
Daily Cleaning
For proper maintenance and to prevent it from losing its shine and its properties, a small amount of cleaning with water and a neutral PH detergent is sufficient (see the advice on choosing a cleaning product).
Hard fiber brooms should be avoided, as well as scourers and other materials that can scratch the surface.
